Helix Forge is a self-hosted git server with repositories, issues, pull requests, code review and built-in CI. It runs on Node.js and the git command line with no other dependencies.
Clone and push over smart HTTP or SSH, with SSH keys managed in the web UI and per-repository deploy keys that are read-only or read-write.
Forks and pull requests with diff view, conflict detection, approvals and change requests, comments on individual diff lines, draft PRs, and merge or squash.
Protected branches block force-push and delete, and can require a pull request, a set number of approvals and passing CI before merging.
Add a .forge-ci.json file and every push runs its steps in a fresh clone, with results on commits and as PR checks, re-run, cancel and a status badge.
Organizations own repositories and teams grant read, write or admin, with the same access rules enforced on the web, over HTTPS and over SSH.
TOTP codes with ten single-use recovery codes, optionally required for admins or everyone.
Runs on: Self-hosted Node.js server using the git command line, with no npm dependencies. Optional sign-in with Dusk ID.
Helix Forge is up and running, with access kept private while we polish it. Leave your email and we will let you know when you can use it.
