Dusk Vault keeps every version of your CAD files, locks files while someone is editing them, and reads bills of materials out of STEP and native assemblies. Change requests and release packages sit alongside, and people without a CAD licence can review models in the browser.
Checking out an assembly or drawing also locks the parts it references, and a check-in never silently overwrites someone else's work.
Each check-in is a new immutable version, with rollback, property and reference diffs, and side-by-side drawing compare.
STEP files give a product-structure BOM with quantities, and SOLIDWORKS assemblies give a component list, with indented, flat and purchasing views and mass and cost roll-up.
Change, deviation and waiver requests link affected files, show what else uses them, move across a review board and close when a release ships them.
A release freezes every file's version into a zip with BOM CSVs, release notes and a checksummed manifest, with signed approval and expiring supplier links.
STL, OBJ, glTF, STEP and IGES models and PDF drawings open in the browser with section cuts, measuring and pinned review comments.
Runs on: Any modern browser, installable as an app. SOLIDWORKS add-in on Windows, command-line client on macOS, Linux and Windows.
